Description
This pattern is hard to date. It is in the style of Hertz & Wegener with lush richly colored flowers in the 1860s, yet decidedly hand painted as some of the earlier patterns of the 1840s. The pattern number is 4001 and the type description on the boom says “Published in Berlin for the London Proprietors”. The design is 168 stitches wide by 178 stitches tall and uses 77 DMC colors.
