Description
This 1860s pattern of Waterlilies and birds is copied from a finished work in the seller’s collection. The Waterlilies were originally completed in beads while the birds and foliage were done in wool. The background had faded to a soft rose beige, which I have used here as the background. At 146 stitches wide and 148 stitches tall, it is made up of 25 DMC colors. There was a corresponding chairback that accompanied the seat, however it was too damaged to salvage.
