Small Pansy Rosebud and Snowdrop Cluster

Description

This 1860’s pattern comes from a finished work in the seller’s collection. The design was a central focus on a black backround in a large ornate gilt frame. While small in size it uses 45 DMC colors to get all the shading of the flowers and leaves and is 71 stitches wide by 70 stitches tall. The original design had the snowdrops executed in beadwork.
