Peonies and Lillies

Description

This mid 1860’s pattern comes from a finished work in the seller’s collection. This was originally a banner screen that hung from the fireplace mantle whose background was a soft baby yellow. I have changed it to a medium peacock blue, which matches another firescreen from the same time period, as it was too close to some of the shades of green leaves. The design is 140 stitches wide by 178 stitches tall and uses 22 DMC colors.
