P TRUBE 6041

This late 1850’s pattern by P Trube of Berlin, was originally painted on grey graph paper and made the pattern look almost washed out.  I have taken the choice to show it against a black background, which would have been keeping with the times, after Prince Albert’s death in 1861.  By doing so, the colors appear vibrant, and reflects what the designer was trying to achieve.  The design is almost square at 144 stitches wide by 145 stitches tall and is comprised of 45 DMC colors.
