Description

This late 1830’s Berlin Work Pattern is by L.W. Wittich and was issued not long after he started his business in 1834.  The design was probably created for a fender stool, which was a long stool that sat just passed the fireplace hearth, hence the name.  Today, it would look striking over an arch or doorway.  The pattern is 180 stitches wide and 75 stitches tall and uses just 39 DMC colors to shade the Roses, Batchelor Buttons and Trumpet flowers.  As always, the colors can easily be changed.
