Hertz & Wegener 8265

Description

This late 1860’s Berlin Woolwork pattern by Hertz & Wegener of Berlin, is of medium size.  The design is comprised of a large Magnolia flower flanked by two lush cabbage roses.  The leaves are shown with less brightly colored hues of the early part of the decade and moving towards the shades of the William and Morris movement.  The pattern is almost square at 159 stitches wide by 157 stitches tall and uses 43 DMC  colors.
