Hertz & Wegener 4027

Description

This 1850’s Berlin Work Pattern by Hertz & Wegener, is a striking portrait of white Lillies against a deep red background.  The design is rectangular in shape at 179 stitches wide by 195 stitches tall and uses 35 DMC colors.  While this pattern was original meant for a fireplace banner screen, and perhaps to be executed in beadwork, it lends itself to many more up to date uses in the modern household.  While the design is shown in the original white color scheme, it could be easily changed to any of the colors in the Tiger Lily family.
