Description
This design by Heinrich Keuhn is not numbered but based on the design, I would date it to the late 1860s. It was originally designed to be a draw string purse, but I have squared it off so it would be more suitable as a pillow or chair seat. The pattern is 140 stitches wide by 121 stitches tall and the latticework can be extended in both directions if a larger size is needed. The pattern would look just as attractive without the latticework, as well.
