Floral Tapestry Carpet Medalion

This lush 1860’s Berlin Wool Work pattern comes from the Nowotny Collection, in Vienna, Austria and is attributed to Louis Gluer of Berlin.  This design is of just the center medalion from the Floral Tapestry Carpet pattern, for those who only need that section of the pattern, but it is worthy design just as it is.  The pattern as shown is 280 stitches wide by 143 stitches tall, and uses 54 DMC colors.
