Description
This pattern by F W Wicht is an allover pattern done very early on in his pattern making career. The design was modelled after a crewelwork design popular leading up to the Victorian Era. The design is 240 stitches wide by 240 stitches tall, so that the embroider can see the pattern with several repeats going in both directions. There are 35 DMC colors used. The picture shows the design on a black background, but it would equally stunning on any color.
