This 1870s pattern by Sajou was not numbered. It has no other markings so I am not sure whether it was a magazine subscription give away or not. The pattern is of two birds surrounded by Roses and leaves. Almost square it is 148 stitches wide by 150 stitches tall and uses 40 DMC shades. There is also an alternate pattern entitled Birds and Roses Alternate, which shows the leaves in brighter tones than the original.
