Description
This very early pattern is by L. W. Wittich of Berlin. He started his business in 1809 and this pattern is from that year or the next. The pattern is of two gaily colored birds resting among the branches of what appears to be Rose of Sharon flowers. The design is very large at 310 stitches wide by 329 stitches tall, yet uses only 41 DMC colors, which can be easily changed.
