White Cockatoo and Roses

Description

This 1870s pattern by Heinrich Kuehn, is quite large compared to some of his other works.  Mine came from a simple firescreen of mission oak.  While the design is 221 stitches wide by 220 stitches tall, it uses just 40 DMC colors to complete.  There is an alternate pattern where I have made the colors of the foliage, on the brighter side, which would push the design into the mid to late 1860s.
