Description
This Victorian pattern of Silkwork Lillies, comes from a finished piece in the seller’s collection. Originially designed as a foostool, this pattern was executed in silk on a soft salmon wool background. Comprised of 12 DMC colors, it is 106 stitches wide by 109 stitches tall. The original finished work, had a diagonal latticework background executed in shades of blue, which I have omitted, as it would be deemed to fussy for today’s tastes.
