Roses and Fanciful Leaves

Description

This is Victoriana at it’s best. This design is by Hertz & Wegener of Berlin, pattern number 6574 and dates from the mid 1860’s. Plump cabbage roses surrounded by fanciful leaves create a stunning design. The pattern is 190 stitches wide by 190 stitches tall and uses 56 DMC colors. The original pattern was created on a black background, but t is striking as shown.
