Roses and Pansies Bouquet

Description

This pattern comes from a finished work in my vast collection.  The design and coloring date from the mid 1860s.  I have left the colors as is, with one exception.  On the plum colored roses, on the original, the lighest shade which is a pale pink on the pattern was executed in gold threadwork to give the appearance of sunlight shimmering.  The design is almost square at 150 stitches wide by 149 stitches tall and uses 43 DMC shades.
