Description
This is an early pattern, from around 1840 or before, that was issued by Wilks of Regent Street in London. Wilks was a printer who’s wife convinced her husband to print these patterns she had seen elsewhere. Strikingly, the design is large was was sure to be a focal piece above a fireplace or a prominent spot in the home. The pattern is 291 stitches wide by 333 stitches tall and there are 69 DMC shades to complete.
