Description
This design comes from a finished work and dates from the early 1870s. The colors come from the reversed side of the finished work and on the original, the peony was worked in beadwork, which was popular at the time. I am presuming this was designed for the back of a chair, but would look stunning as a picture as well.
The design is 215 stitches wide by 259 stitches tall and there are 43 DMC shades used.
