Description
This 1830s pattern is early in LW Wittich’s career with the low pattern number. This could be used for a variety of uses today but was originally designed to edge portiers, which held out the cold winter drafts, or a carpet edge for those more advanced needleworkers. The pattern is 432 stitches wide by 80 stitches, and can be used as is or extended for a longer length. There are 52 DMC colors which could be increased or changed to match as specific color scheme.
