Large Roses Oval

Description

This is what I would call a crossover pattern.  The design came from a finished work that was once the back of a chair, but given its shape would be perfect in a large gilded frame.  The design is basically 1860s however, the colorization moves the execution of it towards the 1870s.  Another clue was the background was a chocolate brown on the original which was typical of the designs in the 1870s.  The pattern is 140 stitches wide by 180 stitches tall and is made up of 36 DMC shades.
