Description
This pattern by Hertz and Wegener of Berlin is from late in their career, given the pattern number. It was also after 1861 since it had a black background, in rememberence of the death of Prince Albert. This pattern of Roses and Passion Flowers is predominately square as the design is 110 stitches wide by 111 stitches tall. There are 38 DMC shades used to complete.
