Finished Work Bouquet

Description

This pattern comes from a finished work I own.  While the pattern was worked on a dark brown background, which dates it to the 1870s, the design could be by Carl Wittich, who’s designs where in the 1840s.  Thus the case of an earlier pattern being reworked in at later time period.  The design is 100 stitches wide by 100 stitches tall and there are 33 DMC shades used to complete.
