Description
This early pattern by German designer A. Todt is quite striking for it’s time. The pattern dates from the 1850’s and is shown based on the original pattern. By using a color three shades darker than the background color, it gives the appearance of a damask background. The pattern shown is 189 stitches wide by 135 stitches tall and uses 15 DMC colors, for the design and one for the damask design. By changing the background color and damask color you can alter the appearance and look of the design.
