Basket of Summer Flowers

Description

This late Victorian pattern comes from a finished product that belonged to my grandparents. This hung in my grandparent’s livingroom over the fireplace. A cousin sent me pictures from which I created the pattern. The design is 227 stitches wide by 315 stitches tall and uses just 35 DMC shades. Since the original background had a brown tone I would place it from the 1870s,
