Description
This is an alternate pattern of the original 1850s pattern. This design is a copy of an original painting, that I have yet to identify the sitter or the artist. While it seems to depict a historical character, the hairstyle was one popularized by Princess Alice, Queen Victoria’s daughter. The design is rectangular in shape at 259 stitches wide by 287 stitches tall, but uses only 29 DMC shades.
